Supporting Documentation
Supporting Documentation is required to complete your Candidate Application
In Step 1 - Completing the Candidate Application, you were given detailed guidelines on determining what best describes your candidate requirements to complete the Candidate Application.
Below are definitions of the various types of supporting documents that may be required to complete your candidate application.
Definition of an Affidavit (for the purpose of the NCEA Certification)
The affidavits required to complete the Candidate Application are official statements that may be relied upon for the purpose of providing accurate facts of information regarding the candidate. If the person completing the affidavit is the candidate, then they are strictly responsible for the truth and accuracy of the contents of the affidavit.
Notarizing of the Documentation
Notarizing the Candidate Application and/or supporting documents is required (when legal in the applicants locale) to ensure that:
- NCEA is not sent originals of license and/or certification cards.
- The Candidate and/or agent are providing accurate statements or facts in the document.
- The candidate applicant is who they say they are by confirming their identity with a government-issued ID.
