Linda G. Cowin

My objective is to remain within a continuing educational framework, bringing my own expertise, intuition, inspiration, curiosity and love for learning to the professional skin care practice.

Linda Cowin comes to the treatment room with over thirty years of experience in the beauty and skin care industry.  She has an inquisitive curiosity of the natural sciences and a love for learning that have blended into a package that puts her practice and education of Skin Care, Esthetic Therapy and Hair Removal on the cutting edge.

Being constantly trained in post-graduate continuing education, Linda invests herself into advanced educational and networking opportunities. She is proactive in improving the industry where she practices by attending her state’s advisory board meetings which is currently working on the rewriting of the Cosmetology Law for Washington State. She is on the Editorial Board for the PCI Journal reviewing and abstracting professional medical research from peer-reviewed journals.  Linda belongs to several professional associations including the NCEA, SDSS and ASCP, and believes in the establishing of high standards of practice for the safety of the consumer. Linda is also a Registered Counselor in Washington State, adding empathic connection to professional treatment and instruction.

As a Licensed Instructor of Cosmetology, Esthetics and Manicuring, another of Linda’s passions is teaching. As a natural result of her services the client and student alike are educated about the skin, skin care products, ingredients, equipment and treatments. Linda owns her own Salon and Day Spa with her two daughters who have also become involved in the professional practices of Cosmetology, Esthetics, Manicuring and Licensed Massage Therapy.  She is also Director of the newly appointed AIE – Seattle, a Training Center Branch of the American Institute of Education of Long Beach, California, where she teaches Electrolysis.  Linda became NCEA Certified in October, 2007, and currently teaches the NCEA Certification Exam Prep Class.
