What can I practice once certified?

Becoming a NCEA Certified Professional is a voluntary recognition of achievement among your peers, your employer, your clients and the profession. As a NCEA Certified Professional you have mastered the Scientific Concepts of Disinfection and Infection Control Procedures, Advanced Knowledge of Human Physiology and Anatomy, Classification Systems, Skin Conditions and Disorders, Dermatologic and Plastic Surgical Terms, Advanced Facial and Body Treatments. You will have an understanding of Risk Management, Professionalism, and Business practices to be a greater asset to your employer.

As a NCEA Certified Professional you must maintain your license as issued by your state regulatory board (or regulatory board of your province). The NCEA Certification does not authorize or qualify a NCEA Certified Professional to exceed the scope of licensure granted in the state/province in which you practice.
